Our Visit To Galway SPCA
By Catherine | Galway SPCA, Ireland
A little puppy love…
We were so happy to be able to visit 3 Greyhound sanctuaries during our trip to Ireland. Our first visit was to Galway SPCA. These sanctuaries are truly and impressively focused on providing the best care to their charges. That care is only matched by the love and dedication of the humans who unselfishly give up so much of their time to ensure the comfort and safety of the hounds.

Ireland has no shortage of open space and the greenery seems to go on forever. The Greyhounds of Ireland can run free. We saw this first hand at Galway SPCA. We were especially thrilled to experience playtime with eight baby Lurchers. Emma at SPCA released the hounds and our group was attacked with never-ending kisses and an over-abundance of jumps and leaps onto our faces and backs. It was so much fun! Some of the little ones have been adopted and we wait patiently until they can all find those most deserving forever homes.
If you would like to help Emma and the amazing staff please visit them at http://www.gspca.ie/
