FALL 2018

IT’S A FAMILY AFFAIR

Returning to a world of classic style and historical charm.

It felt like home. The sweeping landscapes, ancient history, and friendly community instantly connected me to my familial roots. For one week I experienced true quietness – an escape from the digital world – and embraced a slower pace of life. I had long awaited the opportunity to see the Emerald Isle – it’s the land of my ancestors. A few months ago my family and I visited Ireland for the very first time. It was an incredible experience that I look forward to sharing with you this season on Teryn Grey.

Ireland’s history is very much alive today. With every glance, you’ll catch sight of another quaint village, another incredible view, and another centuries-old ruin. For our visit, we set out to experience life like a local. Staying in another one-of-a-kind Georgian Manor, we were quickly immersed into the rustic country life. Inspired by afternoons spent down at the lake and evenings nestled around the fireplace, our seasonal must-haves are tailored for rustic rendezvous and cozy retreats. For the first time, we’ll be introducing men’s fashion to Teryn Grey. You also might notice a couple of new faces around here as well as contributing writers.

As usual, the brand’s muses are always close by. Over the next few months, we’ll show you just what we do when we’re not in front of the camera.

Turtlenecks & Tweeds

Simple turtlenecks and classic tweeds always become our go-to for dressing for Fall. When that first crisp air of Autumn hits, they become wardrobe staples. These seasonal essentials are versatile and functional, whether you are enjoying a day at home or stepping outside with the hound.

This Season’s Power Color

Fall is that time of year when we trade in our vibrant hues for subtle shades of earthy tones like whiskey brown, burnt orange, rich red, and everything in between. This season green has certainly become the power color here at Teryn Grey. Inspired by our travels to the Emerald Isle, there’s no wonder we’ve been coveting all things green. As we spend these Autumn days outdoors, you’ll see us wearing our favorite shades. From olive to emerald, sage to hunter, forest to army, there are many green hues to choose from, making this power color the perfect option for both ladies and gents.

When The Coat Fits

During the days of Autumn, our closets start to see an overhaul of all new outerwear. It’s that time of year again when we embrace sweater weather and we hunt for our next favorite coats. From the classic trench to the perfect blazer and the effortless leather jacket, there are so many cold weather options, but there’s always room for that one statement piece. This year we’re getting the most out of our brown houndstooth coat. It’s neutral palette pairs well with most Fall ensembles and it makes for the perfect layering piece that will easily transition you right into Winter.
